Principal's Page
Dear Mountain View Eagle Families,
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! I am honored to serve as your principal and look forward to a successful school year!
Mountain View Elementary teachers and staff provide our students with a learning environment that strives to meet the diverse needs of all of our students. We focus not only on our student's academic growth but their social-emotional learning as well. We work hard to build our students' character traits so that they are productive members of our community.
In the coming school year, we will continue to focus on a rigorous classroom environment and academic discussions. We will use Thinking Maps as a bridge to connect student learning, discourse, and writing.
As in the previous years, we ask for our support in promoting a healthy lifestyle for our students. Please be sure that students are having healthy snacks, lunch and dinner daily.
Many families appreciate taking advantage of the many school supply sales available during the summer months. Teachers will be sharing a "Wish List" of supplies that you can donate to your child's classroom. Any donations to our classrooms/schools of school supplies and basic materials, you help us save funding that can be directed towards enrichment opportunities for our students.
We will also be having our bond paper drive this year. All paper donated on behalf of your child/family will need to be dropped off in the office. The classroom with the most donations of copy paper will earn a pizza party.
You will also notice some new faces added to our school staff this year. As our student population grows so has our staff. Please make sure to introduce yourself.
Lastly, thank you to all the individuals who have renewed their volunteer applications. It is great to start the school year with so many approved volunteers. We can’t wait to see everyone on campus!
On behalf of the Mountain View Elementary School staff, we are looking forward to our continued partnership.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Sosie Kralian, Principal
